Cannabis Concentrates
Live resin, wax, shatter, and rosin: the most potent products on our menu, best suited to experienced consumers.
Concentrate Types
Concentrates are named for their texture, which comes from how they're made.
- Live Resin Terp-Rich
- Extracted from flash-frozen fresh plants, keeping the strain's full aromatic profile intact. Known for its flavor.
- Wax & Budder Everyday
- Soft, whipped textures that are easy to portion and handle.
- Shatter Classic
- Glass-like and brittle, snapping into clean pieces. Stable and high-purity, and it stores well.
- Rosin Solventless
- Pressed from flower or hash with nothing but heat and pressure, no solvents, ever. Usually at the top of the price list because of its low-yield process.
- Sugar & Sauce Full-Flavor
- Crystalline THCA suspended in liquid terpenes. High potency and strong flavor; stir before you scoop.
- Diamonds Max Potency
- Isolated THCA crystals, often 95%+ pure. The most potent product on the shelf; measure small.
Solvent & Solventless
Every concentrate is made one of two ways.
Solvent-Based
Butane, propane, or CO₂ pulls cannabinoids and terpenes from the plant, then is fully purged in the lab. This is how live resin, shatter, wax, and most sauces are made, and lab-tested for residual solvents before it reaches our shelf.
- Live resin, shatter, wax, sauce
- Wide texture and price range
- Tested for purity and residuals
Solventless
Only ice, water, heat, and pressure are used. Rosin and ice-water hash have smaller yields, which is why solventless usually costs more.
- Rosin, live rosin, ice-water hash
- No chemical solvents at any step
- Smaller yields, higher price

Cannabis Concentrate FAQs
What is a cannabis concentrate?
A cannabis concentrate is an extract that isolates the plant's cannabinoids and terpenes into a potent, refined product, typically testing between 60-90%+ THC versus 15-30% for flower. Common forms include live resin, wax, shatter, rosin, sauce, and diamonds.
How do you use concentrates?
Most concentrates are vaporized with a dab rig or an electronic dab device at controlled temperatures; many can also be added to flower in a bowl or joint for extra potency. Because concentrates are so strong, start with a portion the size of a grain of rice, or smaller.
What's the difference between live resin and rosin?
Live resin is a solvent-based extract made from flash-frozen fresh plants, prized for its full terpene profile. Rosin is solventless, pressed with only heat and pressure. Both are flavor-forward; rosin typically costs more because of its craft, lower-yield process.
Are concentrates safe to buy?
From a licensed dispensary, yes. Every concentrate on a Canna Buddha menu comes from licensed producers and is lab-tested for potency, purity, and residual solvents, testing that unregulated products can't offer.
Are concentrates a good choice for beginners?
Generally no, concentrates are the most potent products on our menu and are best suited to experienced consumers with an established tolerance. If you're newer to cannabis, our flower and edibles pages are friendlier starting points.
How should I store concentrates?
Keep concentrates in their original glass or silicone container, sealed, cool, and away from light, refrigeration extends the life of terp-rich products like live resin and sauce. Always store cannabis locked away and out of reach of children and pets.
